Inspiration . . . From the Grocery Store?

The other day, I was shopping for groceries, when an eggplant caught my eye. I was struck by the color and the reflective properties of its skin. Plus, it was on sale.

So I bought it and painted a study.

Sometimes, it's good to stretch your horizons and keep things fresh. You've got to try new things that you don't ordinarily do every day.

Some people think you should just stick with one type of art, or one style. They don't want to dilute their image. Or something.

But I like to keep things fresh. Plus, I'll sell it really cheap. How does $99 sound?
